Write with Apple Pencil

How to use Apple Pencil with Penink on iPad.

Pair Apple Pencil with your iPad using Apple’s instructions, then open a notebook in Penink.

  • Choose Fountain, Ballpoint, Pencil, or Brush in the writing toolbar.
  • Set stroke to Thin, Medium, or Thick.
  • Pick a colour. The active tool is highlighted in pink.

Palm rejection is designed for writing on the page. If the page pans while you write, switch away from the hand/pan tool and back to the pen.

Penink supports portrait and landscape. Landscape is often better for lectures; portrait is fine for journals.
