Sync and backup

Sign in to sync notebooks, folders, and files across tablets that use the same account.

Sync needs a network the first time a device catches up. Very large PDFs take longer than a single handwritten page.

Backup is not a substitute for exports of irreplaceable work. If you are about to change devices, confirm the new tablet has finished syncing before you wipe the old one.

If two devices disagree, stay online, open Penink on both, and wait rather than editing the same page on both at once.
